A sliding scale is an offering many clinicians have in private practice in the effort of making their services more accessible. I have a limited number of positions on my caseload. If this is something you need to access my services, please let me know so we may discuss this option.
I do not offer direct billing to insurance. I will provide an electronic receipt upon payment that you may submit to your insurance company.
All insurance plans vary (e.g. what type of professional services are covered, yearly totals, etc.), and I highly encourage you to review your plan to determine whether psychotherapy services are covered on your plan. If your coverage ends, please inform me and we can determine how to proceed with your therapeutic objectives at that time.
The research shows that the quality of our relationship is one of the predictable factors of positive therapeutic outcomes. That's why I offer an in-depth "About Me" section on my website to give you more insight into who I am before we even get a chance to speak.
Starting therapy can be a difficult task on it's own and it's worth the extra effort to meet with multiple therapists before starting. This then gives you an idea of who is out there and who may work best for you.
I offer a free 20 minute consultation call so that you can ask any questions you may have and get a sense of what it feels like to speak with me.
If we have begun psychotherapy services and you have determined that we aren't a good fit, I strongly encourage you to let me know. This way, if it's appropriate, I can support you by referring alternative clinicians who may be a better fit.
If I determine that my services are not a good fit for you, I will support you in finding a therapist who may be a better fit for you.
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) is a psychotherapy to support individuals in developing tools to adapt their thinking patterns and better understand their emotions. ACT is influenced by a values based approach to guide individuals through whatever dilemma they are up against.
EFCT is an emotion and attachment focused framework designed to support relationships. It emphasizes and prioritizes the role emotions play in relationships. EFCT recognizes the impact that distress has on attachment bonds. The approach focuses on the root causes of the issues and difficulties within a relationship and works to restructure the emotional bonds within them. EFCT, while named a "couples therapy", is adaptable to relationship paradigms of all kinds.
Narrative Therapy is a psychotherapy approach that is built on the idea that we are not defined by the issues, dilemmas, or circumstances we face. Rather, as in the name, we are the authors of our own stories. This isn't saying that we are in complete control of external circumstances. Rather, we have the ability to reframe, edit, or view our experiences from entirely new perspectives. You aren't the problem. The problem, is the problem.

I am currently being trained in EMDR and am offering EMDR beginning in 2026. Please inquire for more details.
